영국 일간지 데일리메일 11일자에 소개된 이 길은 사랑하는 연인 또는 가족과 함께 꼭 한번 들를 가치가 있는 '세계에서 가장 아름다운 장소' 중 하나다.
우크라이나 동쪽 클레벤 마을에 있는 이곳은 관광객 사이에서 일명 '사랑의 터널'로 불린다. 아치형태로 둥글게 이어져 하늘을 감싼 나무들은 계절에 상관없이 탄성을 자아낼 만큼 아름다운 풍경을 연출한다. |

Rather unromantically, the tunnel is actually a three kilometre section of private railway that serves a fibreboard factory near the town of Klevan, in the east of the country. It runs around three times a day delivering wood to the factory. However, in spring the beautiful avenue of trees is witness to a very different journey - into love. For it is a favoured spot for young romantics to stroll with that special someone.
The magic happens when the trees that line the rails burst into life and create a leafy enclosed arch over the track. It is said that couples can come here to make a wish and if they are sincere in their love it will come true.
3㎞길이의 이 터널은 하루 3번 나무를 운반하는 화물전용기차가 지나다니며, 그 시간을 제외하고는 일반인의 출입이 가능하다. 이 아름다운 터널을 함께 걸으면 사랑 또는 소원을 이룰 수 있다는 설이 돌면서 많은 연인들이 사랑을 속삭이는 장소로 유명해졌다. 터널에 들어서면 마치 동화 속 주인공이 된 듯한 착각을 주는 이 터널에 네티즌들은 "당장 저 곳으로 여행을 떠나고 싶다."며 관심을 표했다. 송혜민기자 huimin0217@seoul.co.kr
