안젤라 게오르규는 1965년 루마니아에서 태어났다. 1992년에는 '돈조반니'의 체를리나로 코벤트가든 무대에 처음 올랐고, 이듬해는 빈 국립오페라와 메트로폴리탄에 '사랑의 묘약'의 아디나와 '라보엠'의 미미로 각각 데뷔하였다. 1994년 코벤트가든에서의 '라트라비아타'로 일약 세계적인 오페라 히로인으로 등극하였고, 이후 테너 알라냐와 결혼함으로써 오페라 계에 큰 화제를 낳기도 했다. |
